We are pleased to inform our membership that after months of fear
and just minutes of work, the Blog section is now open for all.

It can be told now that several months ago when I, Valius, was
commissioned by DeeDee to initiate the "Blog" section it was only a
week after we had recovered from our loss of our site to scoundrels.
One little mistake and again we were within one stroke of losing
the entire site. After a quick recovery I shied away from working
on it again until a few days ago.

Please discover and enjoy all that it is...it is now yours to use as
you will!

All Registered members are given an E-Mail box...You do not have to use it but it is included with your membership. You can set this email up to send your mail to your desktop as via Outlook Express and other methods.

What does POP3 mean?

POP3 stands for Post Office Protocol version 3. When an e-mail is sent
to you, it is stored on a server (called the POP3 server) until it is downloaded
via your e-mail client (Outlook, Netscape mail, etc.). After the e-mail has been downloaded

to your client,
it is removed from the server.

What does IMAP mean?

IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) is an advanced protocol for sending and
receiving e-mail. It is a method of accessing e-mail messages which are stored on a
mail server. E-mail stored on an IMAP server can be manipulated using an e-mail
client like Outlook or Eudora from different computers without the need to transfer
messages or files back and forth between the computers. This is possible because
the messages are stored on the server, unlike POP3, where messages must be
downloaded to your computer's hard drive before reading.

A strong advantage of IMAP over POP3 is the ability for users to set up IMAP folders
on the server. Incoming mail can then be organized into the correct folder. This is
especially helpful if the IMAP e-mail account is shared by more than one user.

Please note: It is not possible to set up automatic filter rules on the server.
This means you have to use your e-mail client program to sort your e-mail.

in the Technical Section.

Mail Server
Incoming server (IMAP) imap.1and1.com
Incoming server (POP) pop.1and1.com
Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.1and1.com

Please note: To send e-mail using the SMTP-Server, activate SMTP Authentication. Please do

not use the Secure Password Authentication (SPA) option. Optionally, port 587 can also be

used in addition to the default port (25) RFC 2476.

If you would like help setting up your e-mail program with this address, please read How to

set up e-mail when using 1&1 mail servers.

Your E-Mail bos is already set up to be accessed by internet connection...Just go to

(Yourname@whitestones.us) the initial Password is "1234567" please change it the first time

you use your email box. If you lose your password we can not retrieve it but we can reset

it to the original "1234567" to allow you access...you can then assign a new password.
