Welcome to Whitestones
We are so insignificant compared to the size of the known universe. But, we were significant enough for the Creator of the Universe to visit us.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Believe That You Have Received
 Mark 11:22-24, NIV – (22) “Have faith in God”, Jesus answered.
(23) “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw
yourself into the sea’, and does not doubt in his heart but believes
that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. (24) Therefore
I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have
received it, and it will be yours.”
 This is the most critical element of our prayer life. -- to believe that
we have received what we ask for.
 First stage: pray; second stage: believe

I was taught that God only helps those who help themselves...
but as I got older, and read more of the Bible, I realized and understood that the things I was taught, and the facts of the Bible are two totally different things. I was raised to think and feel a certain way, but as I grew older and was exposed to the world more, I realized that there was more to life than just that little shelter I was brought up in. This verse is a good example of how we should live. First pray, then believe what it is that you prayed for. If you pray for something, believe that your prayer has already been answered... whether the answer was a yes or a no, it has been answered.
